Suppressed emotions, incarcerated ideas, restrained imagination—all yearning to be heard, aching to get out. Silenced takes you inside this box, inside the minds of two artists struggling to free their souls.

This exhibit features the works of Ezra Reverente and Mike Garcia. The realms of child art and abstract expressionism have been captured in their artworks through mixed media and oil paintings. Silenced is a showcase of raw artistic talents not bound or limited by an exact theme. It is an artistic revolution of the artists’ rage against norms and societal dictates, an expression of their struggle to liberate themselves.

Freedom is a myth. One’s mind can never be truly free.

On their canvas, they can at least imagine.
